And here are a few from the park. We all went to the park the day before Popo left.
Jacob did his best to get around. He had fun, but I'm sure he will have a lot more fun when his cast comes off in two weeks.
As for growing pains..... Sebi is TEETHING! He still hasn't cut any through the gums yet, but he is working on it. He spends most of the day with his fist, fingers, toys or anything else he can get a hold of, in his mouth and gnawing away. I hope the teeth cut through soon. The sooner he gets teeth, the sooner he can eat food more solid than oatmeal.
And he is working so hard to learn to walk. He does very well standing alone. He can stand up by himself from sitting and just stand there. No more wobbling or swaying. Today he took his first intentional step. He fell, but he was not deterred. Sebi is determined to learn to walk and to learn it fast.
I took these photos of Sebi today. He is wearing a skeleton jumpsuit that his older brothers wore when they were about 10 months old. It barely fits Sebi and he is two days away from turning 9 months. I doubt it will fit him when Halloween rolls around. Oh and he still has his fabulous curls. I love his hair. And I don't really do anything to it. I like the messy curl look. Soooo cute. It's the first thing people comment on when we are out in public.
In other news, I measured all the boys on their growth chart today:
The first photo shows how much the twins have grown since their 2 year old birthday. Joaquin has grown almost exactly 2 inches. Jacob has grown a little over two inches. The bottom photo shows Sebi's growth since his one month birthday. He has grown 4 1/2 inches in 8 months. This week I'll take him to his 9 month well baby checkup and will see how he is faring on the statistical charts.
In other news, I did finally find a babysitter/mother's helper to come help me a few days a week. She is really great with the kids and they love her already. We are getting along great and I'm so happy I found someone I can trust with my children. And so happy to have some of the load lifted from my shoulders during this deployment.
Well that's all for now. Will try to take more pictures and update more often as previously promised.
