So we've made it this far. We're 9 weeks pregnant and going strong. I just had another doctor's appointment yesterday for my 3rd ultrasound. Yeah, I know that is a lot this early, but with twins and my other health issues, the doctor has wanted to keep a close eye on the buns in my oven. The doc says that all looks well. The sacs and fetuses are about the same size, both have heartbeats, and he still puts me at 9 weeks gestation. I asked him about limitations with my job, and he said that he felt I could continue my job for a couple of months, but that he would recommend I stop working around 20 weeks. Well, I only have 3 more weeks left and I don't plan to work after that for a while.
As for my symptoms, I'm still having nausea and digestion issues. It's getting harder to find a comfortable position to sleep in. My dreams are becoming very vivid. No real cravings to speak of yet.
I'm really looking forward to not working. Don't get me wrong. I love my job. And it really gives me a sense of fulfillment, but with the nausea and fatigue, I'm just having a hard time keeping alert and motivated. And working night shift is wreaking havoc to my brain. So I'm looking forward to a break. Maybe after the babies are born, I might look into grad school or something. Who knows.
Javier is doing well. He's working hard to take care of me and all my special needs. He's cooking, cleaning, and fetching me the things I want. He's been extremely supportive and it makes me love him all the more.
Life is good.

I am SO excited for you both!! I love your baby widget showing the twins - that is so cool.
I hope you're starting to feel better - my morning sickness started to subdue around week 12 and went away by week 14 so hopefully you're in the same boat. The 2nd trimester is much better - then you start getting big although with twins that's going to happen to you sooner. I can't wait to see you prego. You'll have to post pics when you start showing. =)
